Agenda of the September 12, 2011 Meeting
At the September meeting we talked about National Convention, if you planning on going you need to let Mrs.Mortenson know. Some of the new business we went over was Membership forms, (they are $12 for regular members and $6 for eighth graders), T-shirt forms, Corn drive, the homecoming parade (we will be having a float in the parade), Fruit sale forms will be handed out soon, Cha Cha for a Cure on October 7th, The Veteran’s Day Program on November 8th, Winter Trip and PALS. Some of the reports were on the Kiddie Barn, Washington Leadership Conference, SGLC and SLCCL. Announcements: We now have a Facebook page so you can Like us on Facebook! Sportsman Day is September 21st, Horse Evaluation and Dairy Foods CDE are on October 7th. Nursery and Landscape, Floriculture, Soils and Forestry CDEs are on October 12th!
Agenda of the October 10, 2011 Meeting
At the October meeting some of the old business we went over was Corn Drive and Winter Trip! The new business we went over was the Crookston Ag Activities day which is on December 2nd for 8th-10th graders. Reports: we talked about the Homecoming Parade, Cha Cha For a Cure, Sportsman’s Day, Horse Evaluation and Dairy Foods. Announcements: Fruit Sales order forms will be handed out on Monday October 17th, you can pick them up the Ag Room from Mr. Milbrandt. Chapter shirts are in so make sure you pick yours up. CTE Fair is Wednesday; free meal will be served from 4-5:30! Nursery and Landscape, Floriculture, Soils, and Forestry CDEs are on October 12th. National Convention is October 18-23. The Veterans Day Program is on November 8th. Our Next meeting is Tuesday November 15th at 7:30 in Mrs. Mortenson’s Room.
